Great fun, great value

I bought this for my son's 7th birthday and have had great fun with it. It is fairly basic but works a treat. My kids all had a go but my 5year old found it quite hard. My 8 and 7year olds managed to get a few bounces and are getting better with practice. I managed to use it with no problems. You do need to be careful as the clip is in an awkward place for your legs and can get in the way especially for kids but easily solved if you face it outwards. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Disappointing

This product is short in comparison to others I have seen. I bought it for my daughters 9th birthday and it is far to short for them
I also found a problem with the folding mechanism. It is like a folding scooter with a latch that one clips to lock the stick. This is half way up the stick and is very sharp. I found that as the child jumps off the stick the sharp edgeof the latch can cut the leg.

Pogo stick

My son (aged 5 and a half) was desperate for a pogo-stick for Christmas and this has really hit the mark! The handles and foot plates fold out, and the pogo stick itself extends to make a sturdy toy. The foot plates are metal so can be slippery if the soles of the shoes are wet. The handles have rubber grips on them. The spring is robust so suits a child with a bit of strength but it only took a few minutes of practice for my son to make 3 - 4 bounces in a row which he was very pleased with. The design of the pogo-stick is fairly traditional and plain so there are a few years of fun to be had with it as there isn't a 'theme' on it that my son will grow out of too quickly. Excellent value for £15.
Bought this for my little boy for Christmas as it was advertised 3+ but also 5 + so as he is turning 5 on his next birthday I thought it would be ideal. the pogo stick is far too rigid and hard for even my 7 year old to use! It is handy that it folds down but completely useless for us and is now in the garage unused! I also feel for an older child the stick itself wouldn't be tall enough.
