i bought this "cube" at the request of my 6 year old grandson, who loves it. he is fascinated by the information and the way the cube operates. it is extremely educational!

Learning without realising it

I bought the Europe and Human Body cubes for my daughters, aged 7 & 9yrs. They are quite neat, which works well with the age group. The physical act of "playing" with the cube and revealing bite-sized pieces of information seems really attractive to the kids, and they retain it too - its a matter of pride to get things right if "tested" by a friend! I found there was more information on the Human Body cube than the Europe one, but this worked OK for us given the different ages of the children. There are other versions that Letterbox doesn't stock... perhaps they might make some more available? (Good value too)

Fun & novel quick reference guides

Bought the Kings & Queens cube and the Human Body cube for a friend to give my 8 year old daughter for Christmas.
She loves them. They're neat, not too big (difficult to tell when ordering! - 6cm/2.5" as a cube) and a novel way of finding out facts about whichever topic. She's taken them to school and were a hit with both her friends and her teachers and she keeps them in her school bag all the time.
